German Speakers - Charisma, Personality And Other Reasons They Are Very Popular

By Casey Molina

For many people the unique personality trait known as charisma can be rather hard to pin down in a lot of cases. There are of course individuals out there who have a rather strange, magnetic aura around them. For them, it is easier to draw people in and influence them in rather subtle ways. Having these traits is important in a lot of different fields. People can use this skill whether it be for the greater good or for their own ends, and history has many different examples of people who have abused the rather charismatic flair that they had. German speakers might also have a certain aspect of this within the language that they use.

For individuals who speak the language itself, of course it might not seem as harsh-sounding and indeed, when one gets down to the base of it, it is a very logically-constructed manner of speech. The grammar follows rigid rules which can be quite flexible at the same time. Most people will agree with regards to the similarities between English and German speaker, due to them being from the same family.

This is true mainly because English itself is a language that developed from Proto-Germanic, which eventually became Germany. Certain words can be seen as having the same kind of linguistic and etymological roots. Take a look at the word "deep" in English, and "tief" in Germany, both meaning the same thing. Both evolved from the root, with the central phonetics being the exact same.

Germany has also had several leaders which, in this regard, have been considerably charismatic. Adolf Hitler is probably one of the first names that spring to mind. Despite the atrocities he committed during the Second World War, he had an immense hold over the people. Voting statistics were considerably high as he promised to pull people out of the recession Germany found itself in.

In spite of Hitler's darker nature, no one can deny that his words had an incredibly powerful effect on people. Some people might speculate that this had something to do with the language which he spoke. As a language, German can seem very rough to the outsider. For those who speak it, it has a rather soft tone and is very technical sounding.

There is a certain sound to this particular language which might sometimes instill fear. Sometimes, German speakers can come off as rude to many outsiders, although this is mainly because as a language it is rather direct and gets to the point. Then again, of course, Germany is a large place and there are many different types of people within this country.

Whilst this may not necessarily be "charisma", there is a certain level of command which will make crowds take them a lot more seriously. Some people believe they are "too serious", however, they do give the impression that the job will be done. As a result, in Europe at the moment, most people believe that it ought to be Germany controlling the main banks.

Body language and other factors are also going to be taken into account. There is no one factor with which this unique personality trait can be pin-pointed, therefore one needs to take everything into consideration.
