When Things Go Wrong As They Sometimes Will

By Harvey Couch

Chapter 2011 in the book known as "Life" has ended. And, regardless of whether we had been ready to close this chapter or not, the Law of Time reigned. Some located this chapter challenging, others discovered solace and still for other individuals their pages were filled with inspiration and answered prayers.

Contained inside Chapter 2011 had been a multitude of events, some content like the marriage of Prince Charles, the end of the Iraq war, The Kings Speech winning the very best picture award, and the discovery of a new planet called Kepler. Some sad like Washington in gridlock attempting to agree on the Federal Budget, high unemployment rate, the Oprah Winfrey Show airing its final broadcast, the fit, the talented and the stunning transitioning into the spirit planet - Jack LaLane, 96, Michael Jackson, 50, Elizabeth Taylor, 79, and other events devastated our globe, the earthquakes in Southern Chile and the Northeast Coast of Japan.

We are told to think when a single door closes a different opens, to anticipate planned and unplanned events, to look for the rainbow after the rain, and on and on.

Soon after reviewing the pages in my Chapter 2011, I discovered lots of times when I opt for to curse the darkness, reside with anger and express regrets. However, there a lot of instances when I blessed the light, located the rainbows and mentioned yes to the possibilities life offered. I pondered what produced the difference, why so lots of pages were full of joy when other individuals complete of tears. So I decided Chapter 2012 would be different. Why? Simply because I wanted to be unique, so I prayed and received an answer.

"Chapter 2012 will be a year of opportunity for quite a few, tell them. The opportunities received will be the lessons of perception - for how we perceive is how we receive. Chapter 2012 will be a chapter of second probabilities, tell them. It will be a time to discover from expected and unexpected experiences, and keep going. A time to tear down the walls designed to cover up who they are a time to be fearless, to come to be all that I meant them to be, tell them
